The Merantix Campus is home to an ambitious AI incubator in the heart of Berlin. Serial entrepreneur Adrian Locher uses Merantix to found AI startups in series. In the AI Campus, these find a birthplace that, alongside attractive workspaces, can also offer a network destined to grow into an established ecosystem of the AI industry.
The client approached us when they secured the lease for the roughly 5,000 m². In 2019, the building was still under construction. In this initial phase, we developed the concept for the shared area of around 800 m²: zoning, programme and first drafts of the look and feel, as well as the planning basis for the implementation, which was then taken over by Vitra.
