A benchmark for Activity-Based Working in Switzerland: with the new home base for around 700 employees in The Circle at Zurich Airport, Flughafen AG set an early example of consistently activity-based working in Switzerland. We supported this pioneering project through the strategic concept phase. Together we sharpened the requirements for a forward-looking working environment and translated needs into a clear, robust concept for space and use. Key outcomes of the process were the integration of a connecting main staircase as the spatial centrepiece, along with a clear division of the floors into focus zones, communication zones and encounter zones.
